Gauge level glass, also can be called transparent gage glass, transparent level glass and transparent sight glass. The glass is manufactured into the strip shape with flat surface(transparent gauge level glass) or groove surface(reflex gauge level glass) for observing the liquid level of the tank, pressure vessel, boiler, etc.

The tempered borosilicate glass and aluminosilicate glass have lower expansion coefficient and thermal shock performance, these make the glass can be long serve in extreme operational  environment such as acids, alkalis, high temperature and high pressure.
