How Reflex Level Gauge Glass Works

The grooved surface of reflex glass uses total internal reflection: the liquid phase appears dark, while the vapor/gas phase appears bright silver. This creates a sharp, unambiguous liquid-level boundary — ideal for high-pressure and high-temperature applications where transparent glass may be harder to read.
