Our EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) gaskets are precision-cut sealing rings designed specifically for borosilicate glass tube liquid level gauges. They provide a reliable, leak-proof seal between the glass tube and the gauge body, maintaining performance across a wide range of temperatures and chemical environments.

Why EPDM for Level Gauge Gaskets?

EPDM rubber offers excellent resistance to water, steam, and many industrial chemicals, making it the preferred sealing material for water-based and steam service level gauges. Unlike NBR or neoprene, EPDM does not degrade in hot water or steam service, ensuring long-term sealing integrity.

• Temperature range: -40°C to +150°C (steam service up to 120°C)
• Excellent resistance to water, steam, dilute acids, and alkalis
• Good resistance to ozone, UV, and weathering

• Precision-cut for consistent dimensions and reliable sealing

Compatibility

• Suitable for borosilicate glass tube level gauges (YWZ, YWB, and similar series)
• Compatible with water, steam, dilute chemical, and utility service
• Not recommended for petroleum oils, fuels, or aromatic solvents (use NBR or PTFE instead)

Standard sizes to fit common glass tube ODs: 15mm, 20mm, 25mm, 32mm, and other sizes on request. Please specify glass tube OD and gauge body model when ordering.
